New Delhi: Billionaire Mukesh Ambani for the second year straight drew no compensation from his leader firm Reliance Industries in the last financial as he willfully surrendered compensation considering the pandemic raising a ruckus around town and economy.

In its most recent yearly report, Reliance said Ambani’s compensation for the monetary year 2020-21 was nothing”.

In June 2020, Mukesh D Ambani, the Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries, willfully chose to forego his compensation for the year 2020-21, considering the COVID-19 flare-up in India, which claimed an enormous cost for the cultural, financial and modern wellbeing of the country.

He kept on doing without his compensation in 2021-22 too.

In both these years, Ambani profited of no stipends, perquisites, retiral advantages, commission or investment opportunities from Reliance for his job as the Chairman and Managing Director.
