Colombo: Sri Lanka’s Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe educated the military and police “to do what is important to reestablish request”, he said in a broadcast explanation Wednesday after nonconformists went after his office.
The demonstrators “need to prevent me from releasing my obligations as acting president”, he added. “We can’t permit fundamentalists to dominate.”
